THE HANDEL PROJECT

Recasting Baroque voices in contemporary sonic landscapes
The Handel Project is a recording vehicle created by Rodolphe El Khoury to bring the music of George Frideric Handel and other Baroque composers into a contemporary sonic landscape. The project translates selected works into a modern idiom through new arrangements that preserve their underlying structure and emotional character while reconfiguring their musical surface.

Using digital production techniques and AI-assisted performance, The Handel Project bridges historical material and present-day sound practices. It does not seek to reproduce the originals, but to extend them—retaining their expressive logic while situating them within contemporary modes of listening and production.
